Blithewold Big Beautiful Bamboo Birds celebrated with an opening reception on Saturday, September 21st. The Great Elephant Migration of Newport is off to a new home. However, these big beautiful bird Avatars will continue to delight for another year!
This was the second annual outing for The Social Diary. The Newport Boat Show 2024, this past weekend, did not disappoint. If you enjoy boating, or perhaps looking to add to your “fleet,” this was the place to be.
The American Express Platinum advance screening of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 2024 dropped on Wednesday, September 4th. The opening night reception on Thursday, August 29, 2024 kicked off the new exhibit of Wild Imagination at the Newport Mansions. The Gilded Age furnishings included a tortoise shell crib and a coat rack made with walrus tusks. However, domesticated pets including a green eyed cat, forged a special bond between animals and their humans.

The Newport Art Museum Summer Art Ball landed with a thud on Friday July 12, 2024. The celebration of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s legacy was provided by a worthy exhibit, curated by Dodie Kazanjian. But the “tasting” menu was an uninspired mess, as well as the poor quality of the place settings and; comical table service. Needless to say, the hospitality side of this event was a complete dud.
This is the story of T-Squared Social NYC, a collaboration of two friends, Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake. Their shared interests and love of competition provided the foundation for this social club.

The War Dog RI Memorial will be the third installment, independent of the first two. The dates of the dedication is pending. The monument will have a permanent home at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery. It made its journey in November 2023.
