The Gilded Age Orchestra returned to Rosecliff to celebrate Rhapsody in Blue at 100. George Gershwin’s “jazz concerto masterpiece” however, wasn’t the only programme note. The Orchestra introduced critically successful composers of the day to a new audience.

Pay No Heed Opera
The Social Diary attended the opening night Premier of Pay No Heed Opera on Friday, October 18th. Moreover, it was an intimate and immersive performance. Likewise, performed at the iconic Redwood Library in Newport, this operatic production was engaging and powerful.
Wild Imagination at the Newport Mansions
The opening night reception on Thursday, August 29, 2024 kicked off the new exhibit of Wild Imagination at the Newport Mansions. The Gilded Age furnishings included a tortoise shell crib and a coat rack made with walrus tusks. However, domesticated pets including a green eyed cat, forged a special bond between animals and their humans.
War Dog RI Memorial
The War Dog RI Memorial will be the third installment, independent of the first two. The dates of the dedication is pending. The monument will have a permanent home at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery. It made its journey in November 2023.

The 10th annual Audrain Auto Museum Driving Miss Daffodil parade made its journey on Sunday, April 21, 2024. The 10 mile route took approximately 45 minutes. The final destination was Audrain Cars & Coffee at Sachuest Beach.
