Additionally, in 2024, we attended several unique themes including The Great Elephant Migration in Newport, Rhode Island. Best in Show
The 1933 Alfa Romeo, a classic beauty, won “Best in Show” at Audrain Motor Week’s Concours d’Élégance on Sunday October 5, 2025.
First in Class
Of course this high performance racing heritage Shelby took home “First in Class.”
Welcome to the VIP lounge, the only way to do Concours d’Élégance. Whilst the food was marginal, the ambiance, beverages, camaraderie and service excelled!
The Inaugural Hat Luncheon
The strong, the bold and the beautiful front and centre at Audrain Women’s Advisory Committee Hat Luncheon on October 2, 2025 during Audrain Motor Week. Rough Point, the home of Maven and Maverick Doris Duke hosted this momentous occasion.
Newport Polo: USA vs Ireland
Ireland won this round match in Newport on Saturday, July 20th. However, it wasn’t without incident, as USA, Sam Clemens and his horse took a tumble.
Whilst battered and bruised, both horse and rider were fine. The match continued in overtime, with Ireland up by one on USA.
Community Giving
The Social Diary supports local charities who enrich lives. Moreover, these charities provide necessary resources for the betterment of everyone, including our furry friends. Additionally, our Family Foundation is keen on supporting worthy organisations. This includes Pets for Patriots programme, enriching the lives of both animals and Veterans! Besides, that’s a winning combination!
The War Dog Memorial in Rhode Island is a fitting tribute to “Man’s Best Friend.” Watch military Hero Sgt Stubby movie.
